Pumpkin Spice Creamer

It’s that time again- pumpkin spice everything is hitting menus everywhere, including the infamous Starbies PSL. I get it. I love the concept of fall in a cup, but I * don’t * love the ingredient list (think carageenan which inflames the gut lining, food coloring, and my personal favorite- “natural flavors”)…or the 50 GRAMS of sugar for a grande.

If you’re like me and you hyper-fixate on flavors or certain drinks for a longgg time, we need a substitute so we don’t miss out on PSL season. I personally will NOT be going through this fabulous fall season without some pumpkin spice. This pumpkin spice creamer is much lower in sugar, doesn’t have any of the nasty additives, and isn’t almost $7 for a latte.

This quick at home recipe packs only 7g of sugar and is super easy to tweak to your preference!

PUMPKIN SPICE CREAMER

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 c unsweetened milk of choice (coconut milk, almond, or whole dairy if you prefer)

  • 1/2 c pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)

  • 1/4 c maple syrup

  • 1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

  • 1 tsp ceylon cinnamon

Directions:

Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth (this shouldn’t take long). Store in an airtight container/ mason jar for up to a week in the refrigerator. Note: the creamer will thicken as it sits in the fridge.
